The Canadian Grand Prix could be in danger

The aging of these water pipes under the track, could jeopardize the conclusion of the Canadian Grand Prix this season.

Report, published by the Montreal Gazette, says that much of the water system dates back to the '60s, since it was built for the Expo '67. It also says that between 2003 and 2008 there have been 32 breaks in the pipes and that "a new break ... could jeopardize the event of Formula 1."

The daily La Presse put at 4 or $ 5 million debt to the Montreal track and Dumontier encourages large U.S. companies to "look more closely at this wonderful event."
